Thinking of getting an a5 sport back

Hi guys
I've got an Audi A3 sport back2.0 tdi at the moment and thinking of changing it to an a5 sport back however I'm only limited to get the 2.0 tdi as I can't get insured on a 3.0 tdi so I'm asking for a bit of help on what to look out for on a 2.0 tdi such as common problems etc...

Are you looking to buy used one ?
What year are you interested in.
2.0 is a nice engine size.

Yeah looking to buy a used one, can't afford to get a brand new one haha, any year really not really that fussed aslong it's 5 door and preferably an s-line

They sell some good used ones, if you talk to them they might throw some goodies.
Plus I believe getting approved used from dealer is better than private buy. As dealer will overhaul it all before sending it to the floor.

What spec are you looking at?

Manual or Stronic, year, miles etc.

As a basic would look for service history, receipts etc.

The 2.0 is a solid engine so you should be good with a well looked after one, agree with above though, due to warranty etc, unless private is a bargain then get it checked professionally.
