s4! but dont know that much about them, if anybody can help me out i need to know things like average mpg which is the most important thing! and how come the facelift model doesnt have have the double din like pre-facelift, does that mean that you cannot fit aftermarket sat-nav on the facelift? ive seen a couple of cars on pistonheads e.g.

how come the third car ive shown has the normal interior? why not leather?
do these cars seem expensive or is it around the going rate?

2nd one looks the best bet in my opinion.
They didn't all come with leather, but I would probably expect it myself. (who spends that much on a new car and doesn't get leather!?)
think the first and last are overpriced given the current market.

do a search on the face lift differences, there are not many but they do make a difference to both the look of the car and the resale.

my 2p.....view lots of them, do lots of research and buy one when you feel you know more than the owner!

Tbh if you're really concerned about mpg, im not sure a 2.7 twin turbo is really something you should consider.

I think as standard they all came with the half leather sports interior that you see in the 1.8T Sports. Full leather would have been a cost option and full leather Recaro interiors a further cost option.

Would also seem silly to me to go for one without at least the full sports leather fitted.

yeah, i agree but that would leave me with trying to sell my car first, that colour is smart but it does'nt have leather!

2nd ad's been withdrawn...

There's plenty on autotrader though. Been thinking along the same lines - chopping in for a beasty, need to spondoolies first though!

nobody has yet told me what mpg to expect!!!!!!!!
Not a lot mate.
My car is showing an average MPG of 22 on the DIS at the moment, which is considered to be not bad. Some owners on RS246 are reporting 15 to 18 MPG though.
I can live with that personally as fuel efficiency is not even on the shortlist of criteria when shopping for a performance V6 with two turbos on it. You would be stark raving mad to consider an S4 if you are concerned about fuel consumption IMO

Facelift differences off the top of my head:
Different centre console and aircon unit - triangle button for the hazards is easy well to see from adverts etc
Digital clock in the dash on the facelift
One piece front lights and indicator cluster on the facelift

Drove Swansea-Bristol and back, averaged 30 MPG

However, around town I get 22.8 on the DIS. I drive like he car is stolen, most of the time. Except the drive to Bristol, that is...

Mine is a pre-facelift. Door handles are different, too...

Then there's the rear number plate plinth (the bit with the lock), side repeaters, side badges (there is none), door rubbing strips & lower trims...

I have just put my S4 avant up for sale. It is on RS246 and I will add it to the classifieds here this evening.
I am only going to advertise it on here and RS246 for the time being as I would prefer it went to an enthusiast. I bought it from an enthusiast and it has had a lot of money spent on it in the last few years.

Current add with pictures is here:
