Been with Direct Line for the past 3 years with a Golf MKV GT 2.0, was paying £767. Changed car to a new 09 A3 Cabrio (in sig) last July and had to top up by £120. My renewal comes through this year and they want £1056! Not a very nice Loyalty Bonus 
Gave Sky a call but they could not insurance me due to the value of the car. Did the whole internet search thingy and found prices from £700 to £3500 lol Did further checking around and just bought online, same policy bar lost keys, for £588.
