Had a quote for refurbing my 18" alloys few months back - looked a bit expensive. Had an email this week that they are touting for work pre-xmas at a discounted rate (£250 inc VAT) for a drive in service . Full strip, blast, dip, powder coat and lacquer. I know that everyone talks a good job but has anyone used them?

A few guys I know used him and were very pleased with him. I saw the finished articles and they were excellent. £250 incl VAT is excellent. The cheapest I managed to find in London was £80 and that was providing I had the tyres of the wheels and dropped them off.

Yeah, I used them a while back. I wasn't overly impressed with the finish plus they ended up keeping my car overnight due to a mistake by them, they also failed to tell me they'd not finished till I'd driven the 20 miles to pick the car up.
The free kerbing voucher was good though.

Well... I bit the bullet and dropped it off today. Very modern unit with powder coating plant. Ready at the end of the day and the whole set had been done. Tyres off, blasted then chemically stripped and the kerbing marks repaired. I had them powder coated in OEM finish and they were balanced and put back on the car.

I have to say that the finish is superb - cannot fault it.

I had been looking at a refurb for a while but was going to wait til the spring but the offer price tempted me. I definitely would recomment these guys.

Used the one in Nottingham, excellent service and back in the same day, year later wheels still the same, no chips or anything:rock:
