The "TV" thread (LCD/Plasma/LED). Post pics.

Some cracking set ups. :)

My setup, Panasonic 42" plasma, Panasonic VCR, Panasonic DVD, Virgin HD, X-Box 360 sound courtesy of an old Technics surround sound system with an additional subwoofer. Not a patch on some but my ex had a serious dislike to me actually enjoying the money I earned.

I'll play... (appologies for the carp iPhone pics). OP - Love the look of your set up - very clean!!!

Lounge (recently done to allow more floor space for the little one and more importantly to keep Daddies kit out of reach lol)

Conservatory (full 5.1 in here and is more of a movie/media room than for general TV watching)

I'll have a go too. All 'add-ons' like blu-ray, play station, sky box etc in a reclaimed oak unit just to the left of the fire. 48" Phillips Plasma. The wire is for the Wii sensor.

I must say there are some enviable setups here

Statutory Panny plasma with Onkyo 875 THX AV amp pushing 5.1 to Dynaudio Audience speaker system and Focal sub.

Room is far to small to do the system justice (hence why TV is not wallmounted and the kit is squashed together), but one day when we get round to finding a house with a decent size living room it will all come good.

I got a 46 inch Toshiba XF355DB - nice LED TV with v. thin frame but soon to be replaced (At Toshiba's expense) with Samsung 3D as its developed a fault (grrrrr)
Bose Lifestyle surround sound system with Jewel Cube speakers
Sky+ HD
PS3

No pics as having a media unit built under my stairs to house this lot.
Will post up once its all done and installed again.

original poster....man your setup is what dreams are made of.
Unfortunately my house cant fit that in it lol.
Babies, missus, etc
I have recently kiddy proofed my setup , i might post it later on but i think im gonna come up pretty short here!!! lol

I would love to see some pics. It doesnt matter how big or small your TV is because this is not an ego thread.

Some lovely looking systems here especially yours Scar, probably the perfect living room!! ;)

This ones mine.....not quite finished as I plan to change the speakers for some Cambridge Audio Lusso's or something similar. I am also contemplating changing the now old LCD Samsung 40" for a newer 46" Samsung LED with a thinner frame (not bothering with 3D until they are glasser'less), very much a work in progress.

So far I have

Samsung 3D Blu ray player (with live services)
Samsung 40" LCD 1080i
Samsung 20" LED monitor (CCTV)
Standard sky+ box (will be upgraded to HD once i get the LED 1080P)
Sony 7.1 AMP and Kenwood speakers/sub
Xbox + Kinect
CCTV HDD (hard drive) to be encased in a metal unit soon for obvious reasons
oh and LED lighting which changes colours :)

All ran from a Logitec Harmony 650 remote....

Behind I have a Netwgear router box which is hard wired to my router and running cabling to the DVD (for lovefilm instant downloading) and the Xbox for live services.

Thanks for the compliment mate. I might take a leaf out of your book and invest in some CCTV myself. Quality setup mate looks quite hardcore.

I'm loving the matching wallpaper. I've always loved Pioneer TV's. Beautiful setup mate.

I don't watch much tele but it does for the odd film.
My main form of in house entertainment is this (I really should get a better picture).

Nice little setup you've got there mate (sorry for the late reply). Is that a vintage jukebox you've got sitting in the corner? If so it's beautiful!

A 1975, 7" vinyl playing lovely.
I love it, sadly its only the 80watt version not the 120watt.
It need to get the coin mech working and it would be perfect.

Some really nice sets up here.

I love the floating wall. that is stunning.

Weird how the camera shows up the bad wallpapering, looks ok in real life LOL

i can defo relate to that!! funny thing is I know exactly where you got that paper cos i've just done a wall in the white version of it :)

Not quite a TV, nor quite a living room....
163753_495962748250_519973250_6111027_5501289_n.jpg

This was my uni room setup last year. 22" Iiyama LED monitor in the middle (which I should probably have paused the film to do justice to). Onkyo 605 on the right, a couple of Wharfdale Diamond 9.1s either side: all being run from my PC's TV card (just visible bottom right), xbox (out of shot) or Macbook (on desk).

No subwoofer or 5.1, nor a massive TV - but considering the room is 12ft square, I had plenty of power and screen space. The curtains let the side down a little, I feel.

I'm not sure it's worth showing off but here goes...(excuse the pics, taken on phone)

Pioneer PDP42 something or other plasma
Sky HD
Sony PS3 (used for Bluray too)
B&W speakers but the fronts are some awful RTL TDL2 things on loan from my Dad at the moment as I had an accident with the others. Soon to be replaced by a pair of Focal Profile 918
Yamaha RX-V767 AV Amp (bought recently and quite pleased with the HD format decoding for bluray etc)
Arcam A80 Stereo Amp (has a handy bypass function to allow me to listen to stereo music without using the AV amp but still powers the front L&R channels for AV)
Marantz CD-63SE CD player (retro!)

All controlled with a Logitech Harmony One (to save having 72 remote controls littering the place)

....oh and one black moggy called Bo ;)

And hell, while we're showing off our living space, here's one of the axes (Fender Telecaster American Deluxe)

Unfortunately I can't show you my proper set up anymore. Since moving out I had to leave mt hifi as there just isn't enough room in the flat :crying:

So I'll just have to list it.

Sony LDL-32w4000 (this sickens me as i paid £1100 for it when it came out, top of the range, now it's £350!!) so cannot bring myself to upgrade until OLED hits the big screens!
cambridge audio 540d DVD player
Cyrus 6 cd player and ampx
Kimber speaker cable, mains leads and iPod lead.
Lake audio speakers - you cannot get these anymore, a very limited run then the company went bust, but truly areon par with PROACS and are truly immense, these now reside on my dads stereo so will get a pick when I go home. The 125cm tall, weigh 14kg each!

I know use the TV and DVD player, but with a Geneva audio labs L iPod dock. Superb piece of kit!

Am now

this is mine

Samsung 40"
7.1 Eltax surround sound
Sony amp
DSC_0234.jpg

Unbranded 46" plasma (was bought as a Samsung but was conned, pleasures of EBay, well happy with it anyway)

Xbox 360
