I recently recieved another letter from Audi in regards to Quattro oil check, can I do this my self or should I take it to the dealer?? Where/how can I check it???

Cheers people

I would presume its the Haldex that they are talking about.

Will need to get the oil changed every 20k and the filter every 40k.

What car do you have, if it is a quattro then the above will be the case.

It can be done yourself, but you need a special tool for it, a local independant could probably do the job for about £80.

It's the A3 1.8T Quattro Sport, had it serviced the other week.
So whats the Haldex?

Haldex is the system that makes the car Quattro, as its not permanent 4WD, this bring the back wheels into action when the front looses grip.

Have a look on Google, loads of info there. :)

Cheers nilz18t/Welly. Your good people! :)
