Well I went to see this today......
All I can say is ‘oh dear’
Story / plot line wise it’s all over the place I’m afraid.
There’s a weird subtext around mental illness of one kind or another, which yes I can understand the directors need to highlight it with people who’ve been in the armed forces, but here it’s pretty much sledgehammered home in every scene and to me didn’t seem to sit with this type of film at all, in fact it detracted from it.
Such a shame as I’m quite a fan of Shane Black films.
It’s actually no better than Predators and that wasn’t great either.

I had high hopes for this film. Still gonna try and watch at some point.
Does Predator 2 tie in well with it? I read Jake Busey character was going to be connected to his dad's from the 2nd one

Yeah I'd seen pretty much all the reviews were panning this one.
Like you say such a waste as had the potential to be really good.
