"The" (original) BMW M3

Definately sub zero, pics dont do them justice. When i first seen one in the flesh i was amazed that somethin so old could look quite so cool

I remember having a Scalextric race set years ago that had an old school M3 and a Jaguar Le Mans car. The M3 was the better of the two and the way the four headlights illuminated was cool, especially with the curtains drawn :)

The only BMW I've ever liked, the old school M3.

Good times!

Definitely a performance icon, but successive M3s have improved greatly I reckon. The sad thing is all I remember about the E30 was it getting comprehensively wasted by the Sierra Cosworth in the final years of Touring Car racing when turbos were still allowed!

The E30 is oh so sub-zero IMO.. the E36 and E46 are ok (The E46 CSL is one of the fastest cars ive ever been in on a public road) but theres something special about the E30..

I think so, never seen a RHD one

One of my favourite cars of all time, definately sub zero! If they didnt only come in left hand drive i would definately have one, ive come close to buying one of these in the past but the lhd has always stopped me. I used too love watching the E30's battle it out with the RS500's back in the glory days of touring car racing.

Happy days indeed.

IMO they're still sub zero, one of the few old school that can still pull it off.

Sub zero.

One of my mates used to have a dark blue ultra rare convertible one with cream leather, this was about 12 years ago when they were still top money.

Before that he had a red coupe with Azev A rims on it, looked the nuts. One of the only after market rims that actually suit that car.

I see an E30 Evo every day on the way to work with the number plate B3 EVO, cool as ****.

Love these rims. They look good on old golfs aswell

I had the Hartge 16" alloys for mt e30 320i the multi spoke looking ones. Deffo the best looking wheels that could be put on any e30.

Widen the fenders and put some deep dish BBSs **** would look delicious! Totally sub-zero

Seriously cool car. Newer BMW's are quicker and better but the E30 M3 is the only one that I would actually go and buy.

Ive just done some body repair work on a E30 M3 convertible (the dreaded rust strikes again!) in dark graphite colour with cream leather interior. Not in bad condition considering it had done 314.000 miles!!! Not seen them in cab form before.. not as nice as normal though. Someone else we've done work for has got a 325i E30 cab with a 7 series V8 in it......mental!!!!!!

Love them. I used to own an E30 M3 Cabrio, a 1990 model, in Macau Blue.

The best handling RWD car I've ever owned and driven.

:iagree:

Best BMW of them all me thinks, different league to the newer stuff!!

Wicked car, i had a white one 19 years ago when i was 19,and not many people knew what it was.Could have lots of fun in the wet, more than the e46 i had.
Mine was also the 1st converted to right hand drive by hartge and had the plate on the dash saying00001.
A guy got it new and sent it to hartge straight away at a cost of 7 grand so they told me.
I sold it to a guy who raced them in the touring cars. The only downside was the battery compartment in the boot used to fill with water.

my most fave bmw classic is the m6 souch a badboy car id love one in black with chromed window trim and alloys there awesome

again definitley not cool, Pull up next to a girl and she will wonder what this 20+ year old heap of crap is!?

no Christian Scott-Thomas, for this is the rule of the cool wall :)

Fair point but to be honest if i had one i really wouldnt care and i think even Jeremy himself would agree that the fun factor would make it sub-zero .
Very aggresive looking car

Not an M3, but LHD means that we have to settle for the 325 over here. Here's one wide e30 and I would strangle kittens for it.

I really really really need to get one of these before they all rust.

You do need one. I'm not just being a BMW-bummer-boy (I am, btw) but those old 325i's are so much fun. Bought 'em, thrashed 'em, wrecked 'em. The steering's a bit long-winded, but 200 turns lock-to-lock is all part of the experience :racer:

Who's Christian-Scott Thomas? if I wanted a girly opinion on a car I'd be far more likely to ask someone like Sabine Schmitz...

I'm all for impressing Kristen Scott Thomas, not too worried what her brother Christian thinks myself, but if thats your thing then you go for it :respekt:

She would definately get a portion, i like the little Vicki-BH squeals she makes when cornering hard or enjoying herself.... hehehe

Watch the transit one to hear some.

Hotness  I love the look on her face when she's caning the M5...ooh beat me miss :eyebrows:

So did I. A 86 320i, arctic blau with 16" Hartge. Looked awsome.
