She let me down for the first time today.
Used it to go to my workshop to pick up my van to do a job at home
Returned lunch time and started the car to a lot of meshey tinny clattering noise, moved it out of my yard thinking it would probably stop.
It did, nothing at all, no ignition no nothing. Oh, and the window was down and the heavens opened.
Managed to push it back in the yard and came home.
Went back later when it had stopped raining and when I got there the hazards were going but soon stopped, opened the car, keys in ignition and everything was working again except it won’t turn over, nothing, oh and the window went up.
My thoughts are the starter is jammed in.
Any thoughts ?

Update
Turns out my thoughts were correct, it was the started stuck on, which caused a bit of a power surge around various things blowing a relay and a couple of fuses, all fixed now with a new starter
