So as I thought even though the damage to my car is minimal the insurance want to write the car off....I have the option to buy back as a CAT N and get the work done myself 
I don't care about it being cat registered as I'd bought it with the intention of keeping for some time so as it's got very low mileage and fully loaded I'm going to keep it and sort it out. Plus the fact that it's just had a major service including quattro system and four new winter booties!
So any one that has or knows of an Avant B6 with the paint code LY7J (Avus Silver) that's for breaking I'd really appreciate the heads up
