the car doesn't at all move when I lift of the brake.(gear D)

Is an a3 2011 automatic, anybody knows why that happend, before the car works normally.

Are brakes stuck, any warnings, gearbox flashing in speedo?

If in N does the car move by hand.

No, nothing, just i need put a bit gas and start to move, if i do not do that the car doesn't move at all. I have the car in the parking, where is flat.

Ok what am I missing, when you apply gas it moves, which is normal, are you expecting it to creep forward with no gas in D.

sounds normal as you will auto brake assist

ie needs a slight prod of the the throttle

if you pull up at lights and remove you foot from the brake (still in drive) the car does not move and your brake lights still show on

thanks guys, the thing is, I start the car, I put the car in D, i remove the hand break, i lift the break off, the car doesn't move at all the same for reverse, i need put gas and then the car move, before the car move alone like 3 miles per hr, with out put gas,but now nothing, no warning light, i was thinking maybe is the oil in the gearbox, but the car doesn't have any leak.

Use the gas pedal, I fail to see the issue tbh, mine doesn't always do it.
