Spent the day in the sun and opted for something to brighten up the wheels
Fitted the RS grill the other day as well
You should of painted the hub of the discs too makes such a difference when the cars clean.
I did think about that after I refitted the wheels...
Used a rust-oleum as an undercoat before the Zinc top coat
I used these as it cut out the primer process
LOVE the look of this
Looks mint mate.
just picked it up after it's service and I'm £625 lighter
2 new tyres
Gearbox oil service
Air con service
luckily the main oil service & inspection was free
Ouch. The car looks good though.
Do you work in Wakefield??? Saw some calipers that colour
not me, I'm about 100 mile away..
That grille is exactly what i need.
Where did you pick it up mate?
Did you have to take your bumper off to get the grille installed? Tried myself and I looks like there are screws behind the crash bar?
Yes you have to remove the bumper to access the grille.
The grille is held in place by approx 20 clips; you’ll need a couple of pairs of hands and several flat edge screwdrivers!!
Yes, quite painful to change the grill. Don't forget to get the crash bar painted ( in black ) as they're normally silver and it will stick out.

Took around 2-3hrs in total to change the grill easy enough job really, the only time consuming part was waiting for the paint to dry on the crash bar., left it over night then refitted in the morning.
only if you stab yourself with a screwdriver
You had to take the front end off to get to the screws behind th crash bar?
was able to do it without completely removing the whole front end, ones side was still attached
then just loosened a few bolts on the other side
