TFSI Rear Differential

I've got a 2008/57 Special Edition 2.0 TFSI with a faulty rear diff. Not really looking to pay the full price for a new unit so I've been looking to take a risk on a second-hand part.

The part number for my diff is 08V 500 043 (HUN,FUB), however I can only find differentials ending in number 044 or 045 (EUB), these are still 2.0 TFSI diffs.

My question is, are these interchangeable? And has anybody done this job by themselves?

Found one with the right part number and took the plunge, here's hoping everything from here on out goes to plan

Has anybody changed the rear diff on one of these before?

I’ve dropped the rear subframe before which was straight forward
