TDI Tuning box - CRDT2 or CRDT4?

Hi,
In anticipation of getting my new A6 3.0 TDi 272ps Quattro S-Tronic next month I had an on-line chat with some peeps from TDI Tuning about a box.

Basically it sounds like I have two options ...

CRDT2 Single Channel @ £300
or
CRDT4 SENT Multi Channel @ £650

Both claim the same power, torque and mpg increases so I'm not really clear on what I'd be getting for the extra £350.
TDI did say I'd get less turbo lag and flat spots but am I really going to notice the difference, especially given that I'm jumping from an A6 2.0 TDi manual 170ps anyway?

Any thoughts, experiences and opinions appreciated.

Where are you get the £650 figure from? I've just had a look on their site, the max for the CRDT4 seems to be £400? And you can get 10% off using the ASN discount code.

The only difference I can see is, you need to open it up and move a jumper to change the power level on the CRDT2 system, but you press buttons to swop maps on the CRDT4 system. My opinion is, save your money and buy the cheaper version, the button version looks bigger. If you was chasing power, then just get a proper remap. These tuning boxes do what it says on the tin, and keeps the cars ECU happy without triggering a TR1 code! That's what most people buy them for, whilst the car is still under manufacturers warranty.

There seems to be something fishy going on ... Or not ...
I was on the www.tdi-tuning.co.uk website and followed a link to chat live with someone. I can't find that link now but assume it gets hidden when there's no one there, at 4 am in the morning.

Anyway, the person I spoke to on chat was called Ami who then e-mailed me details but had a link to www.tdi-tuning.com

The only thing I can pick up that's different is the CRDT4 in the link they emailed me is that it appears to be a different one that works with the digital sensors hence the 'CRDT4 SENT' name in the link vs no mention of 'SENT' on the .co.uk page.
Being new to all this I've no idea what SENT is anyway.

Not sure what I'm missing here.
I can't find any reference to 'SENT' boxes on the .co.uk site.

Think I'll just give them a call rather than using chat.

It's only a single channel anyway to the fuel rail , better off with twin channel that will also raise boost pressure .

i'm really interested in one of these as despite being able to get a free software remap, i don't want to void my warranty, the power curves on their website don't tell what i would call a smooth story, especially on the TT?
