ok cool its good you here because i read in the past that you had some problems with it, the problems me getting are vibration noise, i was told by someone that it might be that , when the car is cold there is no vibration at all, only when the car has warmed up it vibrates, when reving the engine it all sounds normal only when in idle i get this problem, and if i get the BITE on the clutch the same vibration comes on but much more louder, u think it may be the dual mass flywheel??

In addition to what Boydie has said ........
1. DMF problems are worse when the car is cold.
2. When you start the car from cold and select a gear - if you hear a knocking sound when you release clutch to start moving your DMF is shagged.
3. Once the DMF starts to go it can (depending on the power you are putting out) start to wreck the clutch too so beware.

From what you've said it doesn't sound like DMF to me .....

My car sounds harsh on pulling away, almost like an engine mount broken or that sort of metalic noise. I am not sure axcactly what this is, but I know that the DMF were recalled for catching fire in severe cases on certain chassis ranges.
I must check mine with Audi to make sure.
