hi, i am trying to install a aftermarket dvd player in it, i got everything figured out but the rear speakers, the harness i got for it matches and everything but theres no sound in the rear speakers, anyone run into this issue before? thanks, Alex.

there is no wiring for rear speakers at the HU as the Audi HU's do not drive the rear speakers. The rear speakers are driven off a tiny amp, the feed for which is provided via the rear pre-outs from the Audi HU. So you need an adapter to connect the rear rca's of your new HU into the non standard 20 pin mini ISO connector that Audi use. You then just have to connect the flying lead on the adapter to the power antenna lead from the new HU. The adapter is the PC9-404
