Symphony VCDS Code Help needed

Have just bought a 2nd hand Symphony to replace the Concert unit in my 2008 S3 Sportback (Bose sound system).

Installed OK and is running fine..much prefer having the 6 CD changer capability.

But the External Aux -In does not work and I think that there is a VCDS code setting that can be changed to activate it.

My local car-audio specialists have got a VCDS that they can plug in , but they don't know that code sttings needed.

Can anyone help please?

0?00000 add +1 to ?

0?x0xxx: Options 3

+1 = Analog Input (AUX)
+2 = Multifunction Steering Wheel
+4 = Telephone

TBH if they have vcds, then as soon as they login to the module, eg head unit 56 it will popup a window with the codings available for that module & they calculate it based on whats fitted to the car, similar to what craig has show you already, now of course depends on the version they have & if its genuine as to if it has the latest data to show you codings for, only 1 way to find out.
