Hi All

I have been looking at lowering my 2016 A3 8vf tdi quattro for a while but couldn't seem to get the right kit.

I now think a B12 kit would fit but I am not sure whether to go for the pro kit or sportline kit. Ideally I would like to lower the car (already factory sports springs) by an additional 25mm - 30mm. Thoughts??

The other thing I wondered about was if I lower it will there be any issues with getting the geometry in spec? Some cars are ok but some are not. Is there plenty adjustment on the A3?

What else should I change? Top strut mounts and bearings I will probably do anyway but are standard ones ok? Anything else required?

Given that you want to lower it by another 25-30mm from the OEM sport suspension, you will want the sportline kit if you go with the B12.

I have been on the B12 kit (pro kit so not as low) for about 3-4 years now and no issue with brand new top strut mounts and bearing since installation (about 60k km with the B12).

I measured the height from the ground at the centre of the wheels to the centre point of the arches at front and rear are both 665mm.

I looked to see what 25mm drop was like and 35mm drop.

25mm is fine but 35mm is just a bit too low as its virtually sitting at the top of the tyre.

Anyone else got the 2016 150tdi with the prokit or sportlines that could put some side pictures up please?

Measurements to compare would be awesome too if possible. It would be good to know what the actual drops will be.

I have sport trim not sline and I wouldn't change.. just right .. very good on crossing humps
B4 I had 2011 a3 I lowered 40mm and changed shockers to KYB springs cheap from ebay and driving over humps .. was like running into pot hole ..

Everytime someone post the codes for the suspension they never seem to match anything i have got on my service booklet, you mentioned GO4 for everyone one yet mines say GO3 ? Can anyone tell me what suspension if have by looking at this picture ?
