Hi all,

While doing some stuff on the car, I had to use some superglue (the clear stuff you use assembling those airfix models). I forgot I had some wet glue on my hand and managed to get a thumb-sized patch on the bumper! You can't really see it unless you look, but it is going to do my head in :(

Any ideas on safe removal?

Cheers!

There is one other option. Take some nail polish remover on a cotton bud and dab it onto the glue. Be very very careful though as this stuff can remove paint too. HOwever i spilt cellulose paint on my VW Touran some years ago and used it to remove the paint. I polished it immediately with a good polish and all was well.

Thanks, will give this a go, being gentle.
