Superglue on paintwork! Help!

Hi all,

While doing some stuff on the car, I had to use some superglue (the clear stuff you use assembling those airfix models). I forgot I had some wet glue on my hand and managed to get a thumb-sized patch on the bumper! You can't really see it unless you look, but it is going to do my head in

Any ideas on safe removal?

You need something like this

If its proper superglue (ie:the cyanide based one) then youll need this
Loctite Glue Remover Gel - 5g | UKToolCentre.co.uk

There is one other option. Take some nail polish remover on a cotton bud and dab it onto the glue. Be very very careful though as this stuff can remove paint too. HOwever i spilt cellulose paint on my VW Touran some years ago and used it to remove the paint. I polished it immediately with a good polish and all was well.
