I've noticed my S1 has an almost v-tech (yo) like kick at exactly 3,000 rpm. I wasn't so worried after I read this on the mk7 Golf R forum:

But looking at the power curve for our engine it looks totally free of any power hike. That said it's only really noticeable on part throttle. Anyone else noticed it?
