Facelift Stronic clutch slip?

On my 1.4TFSI, I don't know if it just me but in the last couple of days, it feels as if the revs are rising (a little) but with no obvious immediate acceleration - I can only describe it being like clutch slip in a manual gearbox and I don't remember it doing this before then? - I have only noticed it in full auto (d) mode, whereas in the various manual gearbox modes it does not seem to be there. I normally have drive select in auto but perhaps I have changed that without realising and this might be responsible? I would appreciate peoples thoughts please.

I think it's in the factory setting that the S tronic will govern the power it transmits to the clutch to stop you from fooking it up?
Just a guess mind you..lol
Take it to your dealer if you think it's a problem..
