Raising the front coilovers this morning and noticed it, subframe not nipped up properly, turns out the threads are stripped. Any ideas? Horror after horror with this saloon, poor thing. Any chance i can just get a bolt on the top side?

Been reading about helicoils and inserts and it sounds expensive and complicated, so i have done some measurements already.

I was told by a garage that I would have to do the same when it came to me swapping out the rotten subframe. Luckily, I didn't have to, it all went well!
