STOLEN A3 S/Line Black Edition WHITE from LEEDS CAR PARK

I just looked over his feedback in detail. He has sold every easily strippable and valuable part off an A3. He has done this very cleverly.. If you look he has spreader out each item and sold various items in between, this would make you think he is a genuine seller. But after reviewing the feedback and the way eh has been selling these items it just screams CRIMINAL to me! I will be contacting eBay now listing my every concern and suspicion of this seller! I really hope that eBay can work to solve these problems. These criminals are obviously using warehouses to vastly spread the timescale that they re selling these parts, using new eBay accounts for every car they nick. If you think about it the way this is being carried is so clever, but yet simple and easy to do. What hassle is it for these criminals to create an eBay account and sell some off knock off items in between to sell a £25.000 or more motor. I have read this thread end to end tonight and it really does scare me what I've seen! If you look on eBay the majority of sellers that are listing these parts have low feedback scores and are spreading the sales out identical to this :-( its so obvious, people just havent spared the time to look!

Really happy for you Sarah hun. I have read this thread end to end for the last 2 hours! It scares me to think how easily and cleverly this is begin carried out! I am going to put in every effort to search eBay thoroughly and find these so called 'people' that are causing people like you all this grief! Im sorry to hear what you had to go through but I'm glad it is all sorted now and your new car sounds superb :) I will be sure to report every Audi on the back of an unmarked recovery truck, or any Audi in suspicious circumstances much like you did. Did you report this to '999' or '101'?

All the best,

Matt x

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION AND READ FOR YOUR OWN INTEREST.

I just contacted eBay. To start with they didn't want to know at all! But when I explained the extent of the situation they passed me straight on to their specialist team. I was told that the case would immediately be passed onto the team specialising closer into these types of crimes! I was also recommended that I was to contact my local law enforcement regarding this. Because, as as soon as the Police contact eBay it will be sorted fast!!! So this will all eventually lead on to the criminals having one less mainstream site to sell their stolen goods! As I live in south wales I can't exactly contact my police about these matters occurring in Leeds and Yorkshire overall. So I am posting this to people in the areas affected by the thefts of these cars! If you want something done about this and your pride and joys then please contact the police. I was told to tell the police to contact eBay using this page? :..

eBay UK - eBay Safety Centre: Law Enforcement

We have all put up with this madness for long enough. NOW LETS WORK TOGETHER TO STOP THESE THIEVING LOWLIFES OF THE WORLD BREAKING OUR HEARTS AND DESTROYING OUR PRIDE AND JOY. Please can we all work together, because this has to stop NOW.

Thanks for your hard work S3 LOVER. I have said it before and I stand by it but if people actually stopped trying to make their car's look like something they are not then this wouldn't be happening.

This market is being created by the people it is affecting!! It's not just the criminals gaining here but the people who want S3/S Line bumpers etc etc on their 10 year old oil burners! Sorry if this sounds like snobbery but its the truth and nothing will change that!

Yup. that is true.

Most want a chance at being unique, or at least a part of a small minority of people with a slightly "more special" car.

Most of us aren't clued up in creating moulds for splitters or have their own alloy wheel cutting machine or the like.

It will continue for ever.

Keep it secure people! Else, most probably, it will be your bumpers and trim pieces on the bay.

Thanks for your input guys, totally true. The people that are trying to fight to stop this, they are the ones creating the market for the parts and your right, one day it will be their car in bits. I can't do anything more to help with this than what I have done last night trying to get the point across to eBay. I received an email this morning thanking me for all the information I put in and that it will be looked into! So I feel glad that seething is being done about it!

Hiya hun, Sorry ive only just seen this as ive been busy enjoying my new baby…thanks for all you hard work in looking into ebay stuff that’s great..im am in close contact with the police as they keep me informed on whats happening (if anything).. In total now 7 cars have been stolen from the same car park all Audi A3 10plates and newer and one 12 plate Golf…what do I need to tell the police regarding ebay…I have told the victim support officer my concerns with ebay and he had told me there is a team that deal with this..so any info that you have found I will pass on…or I could give you his email address…
I have rang 101 to report the three A3's that I have seen on back of truck and they was happy to investigate it…so don’t feel daft reporting any that you see…he even said the trucks can have names on to make it look more genuine..
I still visit the car park in a morning to warn as many people as I can…but it scares me to think the criminal could be watching me and thinking bingo another one….not a chance pal I wouldn’t leave my push bike in there now x

Good work matt..ive been trying to think of what more I can do...ive offered to lend my car to the police and plant it in the car park, I will guarentee it would go the same day or even arrange to go and view these parts and even buy one but the police have just said leave it to them...i would love them to get caught...hate the thought of my dream car been in bits :-(

Totally agree with this, nothing snobby about this…

I wanted a black edition so I went and bought one…not an old Audi and bought stolen parts to make it look like one..

This might sound snobby but ill say it anyway..if you cant afford one then you cant have one but let the people who can afford one enjoy their's xx

Sorry to thread hi-jack but does this not look a bit suspect?

moda3-uk | eBay

Apparently all brand new and original A3 parts. 0 Feedback. However the seller does say he has another account with 100% feedback. Not so sure as he doesn't link it.

I could be barking right up the wrong tree but all the prices are really cheap.

Some people may not be able to just go buy one, they may want to upgrade their car in stages because they can't get buy one like you can so they pay for mods when they can.

Which is fine and I understand that, I just cant see why people would want to make a car something its not especially if they buy off people on ebay that are stolen parts…I didn’t just think one day oooh im gunna buy that…I have been saving since 2008 for it x
