Stock S-Tonic S3 - Launch Control?

Is it possible to perform launch control on a stock S3 with S-Tronic? I've heard you can buy putting it in sport, holding foot on brake, disabling ESP, pressing fully on the accelerator and then lifting the brake. Is this true?

If you have any sympathy for your engine and drivetrain don't try it at all. it will not actually get you away any quicker unless you have the box mapped, it may seem quicker because of the clank when you set off but the speed the clutches engasge is pre set on the box map however you start and the drop in revs as it engages will take you off turbo anyway

Yes, Instructions in the handbook, works on my lowly A3 as well.
