Hi ive got a problem,my steering rack is ******* steering fluid out off the passenger side off the rack at the end seal.can i get it re sealed or does it have to be a new rack fitted any help thank you.
Youd most likely have to get it rebuilt. Try giving a shout to BBA-reman. Although they deal wth electrics, couple of people I know got their electric racks done by them.
BBA wont touch it they only deal with the electric racks for the electrical side of them, Yours is shot get a rack off ebay there only around £150 with a surcharge on your old unit. My friend needed a new rack and went down this route supplied his own (ebay jobby) which I fitted for him at work was fairly straight forward took around 2.5hrs.
