1j0959654ag this is the part number you need i ve been quoted £182 from audi. Also on the lookout to obtain this part cheaper doesnt seem to be many about that arent used or alot cheaper than the price above. I bought an A2 one which is the same part but part number ending with a Q which is no good (does not fit connectors are different)

I had a fault code come up on my s3 about this around a year ago.
Turned out i needed the car tracking as it was picking up that the car was driving straight but the stearing wheel wasnt.
I had the alignment done and its never come back...
Might be worth a check before a trip to Audi??

Thanks mate are give it ago it all went wrong when my steering rack was changed so could be the cause of the problem
