Start stop button not working

The start/stop button has suddenly stopped working

Any ideas what it could be ? Or where to look at. No errors in vagcom

You'll not be able to buy the button seperately as it comes in a "pack" of buttons depending on the equipment in your car. Easiest way is to ask for the part number from your chassis number.

Is this a retro fit? If standard equipment then you're in the wrong forum..

Apologies when I meant start/stop I meant auto start//stop button. Sorry you have been more clear

So the car starts/stops fine at traffic lights, however the button is not working

Check the MVB for the switch in VCDS, if it doesn't recognise any input you'll need a new button pack as described in my post up the thread.

Count yourself lucky! If I had auto start/stop eco stuff I would be happy if it stopped working
