hi my a3 has problem when you are in 1st gear and are pulling away its very easy to stall, its like the revs are so low you have to slip the clutch to catch the revs about right to pull away ,is this right or is there away of increasing the revs or does it sound like something else
cheers

hi i have an a4 and recenlty its been doing exactly the same thing, its as though when the accelerator is pressed down nothing really happens and the revs drop to a very low level so have to put in the clutch to stop it from stalling, not sure what this is either though

IF it's only as you're pulling away then I would suggest that it's probably only a matter of you giving it a bit more throttle boys. If however it's at other times then you could be looking at something as simle as a temp sensor or something worse....but most component problems tend to bring up other issues as well.

could it be the throttle position sensor still thinking its at idle position and not giving the correct enrichment?
