Mapped for pump fuel 1.4bar rising to 1.7bar at the top end, power at the wheels before anyone pipes up saying its low for a hybrid turbo lol

Makes me feel sick just looking at the numbers. Would be screaming in the passenger seat.

mapped the vpower + methanol fuel mix with slight more boost 1.4 rising to 1.9 bar and it made 602whp and 444wtq. Will be collecting it next week all being well

I really want to go ahead with it on stock block was just arguing with myself in terms of how reliable it is but tbh even most of the guys in the states running the more aggressive xona turbos don't face many issues. Lol what's the odds I even created a new thread to see if anyone was running the srm gtx3582r.

I was speaking to Bruce from devilsown so might go with direct port injection wmi for added protection. Are you running a fuel pump upgrade? I heard it's necessary only for ethanol but obviously gives your setup depth to push the limits. I'm guessing you're running the srm throttle body inlet as well?

Those figures are great! They should be close to 640 Bhp and 680ish Bhp crank on those two files. Would defo fly past 700 on e85 or thereabouts with race fuel which is why this unit is so impressive for the price...

Congrats on getting the setup complete I'd be ecstatic

I went for a syvecs ecu so it is completely custom mapped

    my spec is as follows

    srm turbo
rpc inlet plenum, billet runners and 82mm Throttle body with larger throttle elbow
    forge intercooler
    stm decat and opf delete
    miltek exhaust
    bigger injectors

Did not the fuel pump as you will not max the fuel pump on a stock block and as I am on syvecs I used a methanol fuel mix instead of using a wmi setup pre throttle. I could have pushed by 700 easy but this is a stop gap setup for when I forge the block, fit the iroz lpfp and really turn up the boost to see what the turbo can do

Very intricate setup built for purpose and with safety in mind too! Just the advice and info I needed! Thank you.

Yes I suspected that regarding the fuel pump but yes it is best to build with space to grow particularly when you are built! They should really be going 800+ on built setups I think.

The syvecs is an expensive but very worthwhile investment. The amount features particularly the flex fuel feature and the bespoke mapping is excellent. The rolling anti lag feature must be as crazy as launching it from a dig. Really appreciate the input once again.

I suppose Romain mapped the syvecs? Good luck with it mate I really can't wait to see what it does once it is built as well.

Did your tuner give you any advice relating to it running on stock? Or were they relaxed about it seeing as it is a bespoke custom map

Yep mapped by Romain and he was open to me pushing the stock block as far as I wanted as I have some car history and he knows I understand the risks of a rod saying hello lol

So we had a discussion and decided lets get keep the torque at 500lbft and as flat as possible for longevity of the rods and it still made nice power, the syvecs is a grate ecu and gives you the freedom to choose any mapper, have remote fault finding and plenty of safety features.

Yes I am familiar with Romain, he's been in the game a long time and mapped an ep3 type r of mine on stand alone management about 6 years ago.

I've just ordered just waiting on my gtx now... do you know roughly how long the wait was for your turbo? Cheers
