Squeak on steering when idle or pulling away

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help, had a slight squeak the last couple of days when pulling away / idle when turning the wheel and is getting louder.

have checked fluid and level is spot on (checked after a long drive and also after car had been sitting for a while).

Also about 2 / 3 weeks ago or so I drove through a puddle a "touch" to big as I forgot I wasn't in a range rover could this be the cause of it?

Hi mine does it a bit too but only when turning left at low speeds just a belt slipping I guess maybe the belt on its way out?

it could be the alt freewheeling pulley has siezed up
