SQ5 SQ5 drive select location

Hi just joined and 1st post,
I am considering maybe a 2015 sq5 and after viewing many of similar age via usual ebay and autotrader,
Ive noticed drive select either on dash or next to gear selector ...so ignore my ignorance was this a slight facelift or is there a different reason for the placement of the buttons.
Id probably prefer it near gear selector.

Hmmm, not noticed it down by the gear selector tbh, mine is on dash along with the other buttons.
Is it dependant on having the tech pack with the MMI interface on the centre console rather than the basic system with the controls on the dash?

Yeah a quick look on auto trader confirms this.
If you dont have the tech pack, then the radio controls are on the dash and the other buttons ( start stop, esp, hill descent etc.) are on the centre console.
If you have the tech pack then it's the other way around

Dont expect a massive step up in tech though as it's still a 10 year old platform....a nice big upgrade from your current car though
