Anyone have any idea how many 2006/2008MY Special Editions were pumped out or how rare they are, maybe get a list of Special Edition owners together, please no Black Edition owners, and 2006/2008MY only.

204 cars built with 2.0TFSI engines
4431 cars built with 2.0TDI engines
Now I`m not sure what the next ones mean as there is an A at the end of! Audi S Line S/back FSI and also at the end of Audi S Line S/back TDI.
Maybe that A denotes Special Edition.
16 cars built with 2.0TFSI engines.
1052 cars built with 2,0TDI engines.

Vanity mirrors are illuminated, rear parcel shelf sun blind that keeps popping up and full leather as a no cost extra. And was £1500 or £2500 cheaper, cant remember now.

i have all those on my 2007 2.0tdi s-line quattro factory fitted but cant find anything to say its special edition, any other differences? i have the black leather with the lunar silver nappa centres and leather door cards, was this a option or just special edition?, cant seem to find much detail on them

I have a 2006 2.0Tfsi S-Line SE. Mizano red with 41000 on the clock. As above it tells you on the log book what it is. My understanding also as above, full leather, vanity mirror lights and the dodgy rear sun screen! Also they where a little bit cheaper.
Roof rails were an optional extra, also full leather was, if you car doesn't have SE along with S-LINE on your log book then these were added as optional extras, Special editions didn't come with roof rails but it was an optional extra.

Just found this with special edition prices on page 20 and on page 13 denotes what the special edition came with as extra.

according to the info not sure how i got a A3 in sprint blue as its a S3 only colour, seems i got all the bits a special edition came with but mine has mostly been picked from the exclusive range.
why do audi some many different options? i swear its just to confuse us mere mortals

Yours must have been a special addition with the added exclusive extras, very rare I recon, and a nice colour too, shame you haven't got the open sky sunroof, have you got xenons?
