Sport/manual

Was toying about in manual yesterday (normally in S/auto) curious to know as I can feel a substantial lack in power, torque and exhaust valves sound closed while in manual compared to sport in auto.

Would I have to shift across into manual then select Dynamic through drive select. I really do love driving in manual but want the same output as sport in auto. Car is S3 8V PFL.

Manual should be the same as sport, just you shift instead of the set S mode.

It really doesn’t feel nor sound the same though, it’s chalk and cheese difference

I like manual. Don't have to wait a split second after putting foot down for the car to take off. I agree it doesn't sound as good. I even drop in to 1st gear when moving slow just so the car sounds better.
