I've got a split hose under the inlet manifold, would 8mm silicon vacuum hose do as a quick fix?

Didn't want to take it off in the dark to check in case I can't get it fixed.

it should stretch over yes mate, I believe the inlet nipple on the one it'll be is 10mm and the check valve fitment is about 8mm so the silicon should stretch over OK.

Long term your best bet would be to install a catch can and do away with the evil leak centre all together!

Thanks Prawn, will have as bash tonight.

Was actually reading through some threads on catch cans today, as I've got an AGU it seems fairly easy to do, only thing that concerned me was the brake booster side. Is this pretty easy too?

nothing to touch there at all mate. Only the AUM A3 has 2 take offs on the servo line, AGU servo line and PCV system totally independant of each other

That's good news, will make it a very straight forward job then.

Managed to get the 8mm hose on, fits on the manifold nipple but was too small at the other end, made as makeshift connector out a bit of the old hose, will do for now.

Predictably, snapped the dipstick holder, got a spare at my folks so no drama
