Sourcing a OEM Audi 6CD autchanger

anyone recommend where I can get a good deal - ages ago someone suggested a dealer who was selling them for £150 odd which is much more attractive than the £400 odd the Audi quote

Adam, You can get an aftermarket one with adapter, certainly cheaper than the normal Audi price for OEM.

I was looking for the same thing about 6 months ago and found Ebay very useful doing a search for 'Audi' in the Car Audio section can bring up OEM units, adaptors, Non OEM units. As mentioned there is an offer on a Vag Parts who are brilliant.

In case you didn't know the only difference between an OEM unit and the Alpine unit it is based on are badging and the plug, Audi specified a different plug so you could buy an Alpine one for half the price!

I think I saw one on Ebay yesterday so do check

Good luck, you don't say what car it is for but have you checked the cabling is there? It normally is on most Audi's in the passenger side boot compartment.

Have you managed to find one yet? there are loads on Ebay at the moment. I got mine from there and as long as you check the seller's history you can get great deals on kit!
