Source of creaking steerng found

So had a creaking noise at slow speeds on and off for a few weeks, had a look and I think I've found the culprit, image attached.

Cars under a used warranty from Audi, couple of questions do you think it'll be covered? Or is this just regular wear and tear?

Also, what is it called, some sort of bush? Just if I'm going to get it done and pay, I'll probably get a full set have them all done with uprated items in one hit.

It’s a ball joint, looks like the rubber seal has gone, hence the leaking grease.
If your under warranty then I’d let Audi know the symptoms, tell them you’ve spotted the joint leaking and let them take care of it.
What’s your mileage at? If high they may try and claim fair wear and tear, if so, find a reliable independent to do the work.

Cheers, the cars 30k, 5k since I picked it up. It was dry I just wd40'd it to get a better look.
