I'm thinking of getting a sound bar, can anybody give me some recommendations, and ideas on what to look for when buying one?

I advise going to listen to some first, audition a few different ones and see what you think of them.

Can I ask why you're going with a soundbar anyway as opposed to a 2.1 or 5.1 surround sound setup? I'm guessing space is an issue?
