Soon to be S3 owner

Hi all.
Currently got a 1997 Mk3 Golf GTi 16V (bit of a moutful) but about to order an S3.
6 left unregistered new by Audi so trying to get one of those - 18" alloys, Bose ICE, silver, Leather/Alcantra, etc.
Any owners have any advice about running costs, problems, etc?
Obviously a decent step up in price and performance.

Only real thing to watch out for is the coilpacks... make sure they are revised ones.

Its the 2001> you have to be cautious with... but if its a brand new one, they shouldbe sorted already!

Welcome, if you can find one snap it up. Quality cars, as Rich said coilpacks but otherwise vwey little on a new one. Just have a gander in the S3 forum for more info.

On the running costs AVS (Audi Variable Servicing) means every 15K or more between services with costs from 200-400 for a monior and a major at 400+. To fill up with Optimax (a must) will set you back £45.00+ so bear that in mind.
