So i've had a few issues pop up today .

Old cars are always prone to issues, it goes with the territory really..lol
And my little old mk1 is no stranger to some of the more common probs but recently it's been behaving for the most part.
Today it would seem it wants to throw a few more at me.
The door microswitch is playing up, well it may just need adjustment as it does drop the window, just not when you'd expect it..
One of the rad fans has stopped working, car runs fine and stays spot on 90 but its only running one fan, as both should run irrespective of any ac one etc one has died.
I Ran VCDS and all seems ok, did a check on the Haldex controller which came back ok, but I'm still getting a lot of front wheel spin so maybe well overdue for an oil change etc.

Today the really annoying rattle from the front nearside is back in force..arghhhh.
I've had a good snoop and cant find anything obviously at fault, it's just all the time and over every bit of gravel in the road or bump, strangely it is no worse when i hit a big bump or pothole than from a small ripple in the road.
I'm beginning to suspect the front strut top mount is faulty even though it's new.

any ideas chaps.
