I just wish i could turn off the ABS without harming the EDL

ABS doesn't work on snow/Ice so it's not the getting going, it's the stopping for me

no your not. its rarely useful. on a front or rear wheel drive car maybe

esp off in the snow, it cuts power when it detects wheel spin, with it off it doesnt interfer and allows the haldex to put power to all 4 wheels. I love the way in the snow you can turn in drift and then power round the corner, instead of just understeering. If you can find a big open space i.e. car park and its SAFE TO DO SO its very useful to learn what the S3 is capable of in conditions like these. Still you should always drive to the conditions.

but i miss my scooby doo as that was ace at power difts i the snow, dont know if i would like to risk my sig car ( chicken i know ha-ha ).

however wonder what my tdi quattro would be like in the snow 2.5 v6 mmmmmm
