HI I HAVE AN AUDI A3 2.0 T FSi S line Special Edition, 3 Doors, Manual, Hatchback, Petrol, 2006. ON CHECKING DIP STICK FOUND A STRONG SMELL OF PETROL COMING FROM OIL. ANY IDEAS OF WHAT THIS COULD BE? THANKS, ALLY

Cam follower wear, or fuel pump seals. Mileage?

97K MILES DO YOU THINK IT COULD BE PISTON RINGS? WOULD THERE BE ANY OTHER SIGNS? THANKS

Dribbling injector, worn rings. Does it blow like a leaf blower out the oil filler cap ?

could just be a blocked breather

This happened to me, and was going on unnoticed for a while and lead to my turbo blowing :-(..at first it was very subtle so easily missed- no smell etc.

Mine was caused by worn seals both within the HPFP and within one of the injectors. Got a low mileage set put in my Stattler which cured the problem. Best not to drive the car too much till its sorted ,as your oil's not going to be doing its job properly.

are you based in glasgow any garages you reccomend how much to rectify? thanks
