small clicking noise

can any body help I have a silly little click noise every now and then every time I go out it mainly does it when changing down gear or slowing down.

has dun it when reversing as well and is a pain.

sounds like 2 coins clicking together .

any ideas as its doing my head it.

the brakes squeak so wonder if any think to do with that

Are your seats locked properly. I only ask this I had a clicking noise when changing gear or braking and it was my seat not clicked in properly after I moved it forwards slightly.

If its from forward to rev its prob brake pads.
if its on slowing down and DSG box some make a slight noise on down change (like a motor bike changing gears)

It happens when you unload the drive train. So mostly when changing gear but also when you lift off reasonably quick?

I have the same ****** annoying noise! When I'm in a car park doing like 5mph when I come off or on the throttle even lightly I heard a clicking!

Driveshaft washer/spacer if one of the bolts has fallen out.

Happened to me with the same symptoms
