Sloshing sound

Hi,

I know this sounds daft but I can hear liquid sloshing around in my convertible. It's not really from the front or rear but kind of central. I have checked the bulk head and it is dry no evidence of water, same in the boot.

Thing is for the first time ever I filled up last week. Now 3/4 full could it be petrol I can hear ?

hi mate i am not too sure about the convertibles but half a tank of diesel in my 1.9 tdi a4 definately sloshes about let your tank run low and see if it still does it

yep i get the same thing in mine its some thing that i hate about my a4 never had it in any car before this one and was disappointed to say the list. very poor of audi to do this i feel

Yep mine does it too. I live on a hill so when I go down it and stop to reverse you can hear it. Had me worried at first

didnt do it on the old a4 b5 one i had years ago tho, well not that i remember?
