Side / Exit Assist Unavailable

Hi All,

I retrofitted Side Assist (Lane Change) to my Audi S5 with the help of @andyhud and had it properly calibrated last Wednesday.

Yesterday while out and driving through the town we had an error pop up on the dash saying it was unavailable. After checking on VCDS there was an error logged against 3C saying Auto calibration not possible. If I cleared the error it just returned.

I was going to book it in for checking but then today when we was out as soon as I drove over 40mph the error cleared and hasn't returned.

I checked the manual and there is nothing useful in there and it may only be that the auto calibration happens more after the proper calibration but if any of you get it this is something to keep in mind.

I’ve had side assist unavailable front camera restricted, car and windscreen were clean, after I restarted car and drove again it cleared, never had it since
