Here's my baby stance:

225's at the back are far too wide for a good stance, at least on 18x8 Superturismos. Looking for a nice set of new wheels with better specs for the next season. But for now, make room for the 15x6 Pepperpots! :D And to cheer s3 Kev up - I love your car, it's really stylish and don't mind others who don't like it, there's always such people who could'nt understand what we (stance lovers) are doing and that's ok. Schwartza3, I've said before, great car!

Reading this thread was hilarious - who would have thought that such a simple and friendly idea would start World War 3?

As far as I'm concerned, it's each to their own - some people absolutely love the Euro 'Super-Low' look, others prefer to set their cars up with performance and handling in mind. Everybody is completely entitled to their opinion, just as everyone has their own preference and style, so how about we actually use the forum for the purpose it was intended, and appreciate each others interests and hard work instead of having a go at each other?

Anyway, here's my 'Stance'...

Setup is AP Coilovers all round (Rear Adjusters removed), Forge Adjustable Rear Tie Bars and Forge 16mm Rear and 10mm Front Spacers

I'm very happy with the setup - handles stupidly well, and, after a fair bit of work and adjustment, finally sits exactly how I wanted it to.

Do you know offset your wheels are ???
thanks jay

hers mine , RS6 reps with et35 and 30mm spacers , but have now put 20mms on as they were catchin , with the 235/40/18s

Tell me about it - Sydney roads are like the driveway of a medieval castle.
lmao I had a good laugh here, dude our newly built highways are washing machine friendly, you put a bucket of soapy water in the boot, load your clothes in it and drive for 3km and when you stop your clothes are clean!

32mm free space under car, 60mm rim gap... next season there will be 18 inch wheels and I can go lower so rim gap should be 30 maybe 20mm

That is pure SEX! Makes me want to keep my Avus wheels now.

What size spacers are you running front and rear? Any work done to the fenders?

thank you.. 205/40/17 tyres and no problem with fenders so no modify need. 30mm spacers front and rear.

Our A3... think its on Pi 40mm springs up front, 50mm springs on the rear...
Rears are spaced out 5mm... Wheels are 19inch RS007's... ( we lowered it back in 2006 ) owned this since 2005-06...

It pains me to say it but for me your car is easily the "nicest" vehicle posted within this thread. They're all too low or not low enough :(
