A6 Parked in drive on a slight uphill slope and still running off to rear - once I leave the village and up to 30 mph the water just sheets off leaving bonnet and roof water free ( quite disconcerting when you see the river flowing over the Pano roof ) . A1 in flat drive - still doing it's stuff after 3 weeks.
@Drewsus - I'm a big fan of BSD too Also had a play with mixing it too https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/sonax-bsd-mixes.373200/ PS Just don't mention it to our @jassyo06 lol
Used it on my Mum and the Mrs cars its OK however l would'nt get a semi over it's performance besides l don't like or want big bubbles on my paintwork, its good value for money....big negative with Bsd is? it leaves the paint feeling a bit sticky...dust magnet.....defo..............nothing to rave about....unless yer lazy and like a quick fix of which we all guilty of doing.....from time to time
Beads in my bmw first ( blue) Autoglym super resin Poorboys black hole Poorboys natty blue Dodo juice purple velvet pro Chemical guys detail spray Probably don’t need all them steps but I’m bored In lockdown wife’s ds3 (black) This doesn’t get the love of my car as the wife doesn’t care and it’s get work car so goes to building sites etc simonize black polish Turtle wax black infused detail spray
Haven’t seen many beading shots more spherical than that BristleDog. Kudos, that’s one for the beading shots hall of fame Great beads, great photo - there’s an iPhone screensaver for your phone with a bit of cropping right there pal
5.30 am , the rain came ! Nice little beading shot of the roof after the A3 Sportback Sent from my SM-N986B using Tapatalk
Surprised as people have been mentioning BSD and yet @jassyo06 is nowhere to be found . Let’s see if another mention of BSD within two hours brings him out of hiding / hibernation A3 with CarPro Hydro2 followed by a coat of Cure And BMW with a coat of Done & Dusted followed by a coat of BSD
Hey @Scotty75, long time mate, hope you and family are keeping well. Decided to not sell it. Had a few mupp*ts turn up who were more interested in test driving the car rather than buying it. She is staying put, stays in the garage and comes out as and when I get bored of BMW. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh... l have used BSD on my families cars but not on my own car though, its has great hydrophobic properties l admit...but l have found a replacement for Gyeon Wet coat...... Megs hybrid ceramic wax it gives an amazing gloss finish and has uber hydrophobic abilities....add their Ceramic quick detailer for a knockout combo.....beats BSD for beading and feels far more slicker to the touch than BSD.Time constraints are the main reason for my lack of interest in detailing ATM....but still l am as anal as ever about how l go about detailing....that'll never ever leave me mate
**** me mate that's the most impressive beading shot l have ever saw....Correct me if l am wrong but only a machine poilshed paint surface with a wax on top gives that style of beading...
Thanks mate , a comment like that from you is quite an accolade ! Fairly aggressive machine polish, cleanse with Bilt Hamber and then Autoglym UHD Wax . Got to admit I'm pleased with the results. UHD really is something special in my opinion. Despite the terrible weather the A3 looks exactly as it did 7 days ago . Much impressed Sent from my SM-N986B using Tapatalk
