Short Reg Plate holder

Got my 5digit reg plate on the car currently in the standard size holder which doesn't look that nice.

Some people just ditch their plate holders and screw the plate directly onto the car - not too keen on that!

Is there a way to have a short plate surround? Anyone done this before?

When I had my Vw R32 I cut the centre out of the holder and a smash repairer plastic welded it back together

Fair enough that is one way to do it! I'm sure that you can buy these on the internet? Anyone had any experience with it or do ppl just just their plates on without the holders?
