Shock removal bolt snap

I’m in trouble.
Went to install my new eibach springs. Got one side done, lovely. Second side, the bottoms shock bolt was fairly tight and BOOM. It snapped.
1. Is the strut itself threaded?
2. If so, How in the name of god am I going to remove the bolt

because you now have nothing clamping the strut tightly you should be able to get something into the split in the clamp to open it a bit then the strut can lift out. lot of people use an allen key or similar in the gap then turn to open it with the points . this at least should give you access to the bolt to remove it somehow . helpfull video I found to save dropping the driveshaft.

judging by the video the strut is not threaded, just look at your replacement

Got it sorted.
I removed the strut, and then out with the flame thrower
Also had an added bonus of 2 top mount bolts seized. Angle grinder to the rescue.

What eibach did you go for? Can you post before & after pics please. Looking for some for my s line saloon but undecided which to go for. Thanks.
