Evening Team Audi,
So as you may have read, last week me and the Mrs popped in to the local Audi, she was not 100% sold on getting the A2, but put a holding deposit down of £1000, £700 of which would be returned on purchase of the car. I specifically asked the sales man when this deposit would become non-refundable are when is the point of no return.
He said once the car is in the UK and on Audi Plymouths books it will be ours / Audi Plymouths. Yesterday the mrs decided not to go ahead with it, sales man said ok (eventually) and said he would have to talk to someone else to process the re-fund. That person rang today to say that he could offer some more stuff, or get her in to a Q3 etc. anyway she decided and now that sales man has to talk to someone else as the car is "tagged" to my wife.
Sounds a bit iffy to me, one sales man saying one thing and the next saying something else.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Cheers team!
