I had to replace a worn wastegate today. I've tried to set the new one, the same as the old one; 15mm from the end of the rod to the first nut.

I know it probably won't be totally accurate, but are there any known settings for the nut on a standard replacement?

It's a 2002 BAM engine, an unknown map, Badger 5 V2 TIP and a Forge diverter valve.

you mean actuator yes, not wastegate (inside turbo)

Stock psi on actuator pressure is 5psi, so you can either check the crack open pressure with a pump onto actuator and adjust so it starts to open at 5-7psi, or do trial and error with n75 unplugged and watch your boost gauge if fitted and see if it runs 5psi..

If it runs significantly more than 5psi on actuator pressure when n75 is plugged in, it could over boost, so be careful
